Wright-Phillips urges Chelsea player to sign as Lukaku’s replacement that he’ll fit in wonderfully
Shaun Wright-Phillips, a former Chelsea winger, has urged the club to recruit Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski if Romelu Lukaku joins Inter Milan this summer.
Chelsea and Inter are in direct talks for a loan deal for Lukaku, who has been close to returning to the San Siro.
If the Belgium international is unavailable, Wright-Phillips told Genting Casino that Lewandowski would be an excellent replacement.
“If Romelu Lukaku leaves, Robert Lewandowski would be the ideal successor,” Wright-Phillips remarked.
“He always scores goals, no matter what team he plays for.”
“All Chelsea would have to do now is play to his strengths.”
