This is a cross-cultural charming wit movie produced, written and directed by Hamisha Daryani Ahuja on her debut as director.

The movie headlines Ini Dima-Okojie and Ruslaan Mumtaz in the principal roles.

The movie was streamed via Netflix on 14 February 2021, coinciding with Valentine’s Day.

Namaste Wahala is consider the first major movie between Nollywood and Bollywood.

The movie is based on romantic relationship between an Indian boy and a Nigerian girl despite coming from completely different backgrounds with cultural differences.

This is a touching drama movie co-directed by Karachi Atiya and Dimbo Atiya. The movie headlines Daniel EtimEffiong, Sharon Ooja, KunleRemi in the key roles. It was shot in Abuja.

The movie is based on the story of former lovers, who had a reunion that reignited tough memories from their toxic relationship.

3. Fine Wine

This is an emotional humour movie directed by Seyi Babatope and written by Temitope Akinbode and Diche Enunwa. The movie headlines Richard Mofe-Damijo, Zainab Balogun, NseIkpe-Etim in the principal roles.

The movie is based on the story of a solitary but wealthy aged man who honestly falls in love with a youthful woman and discovers he is in between disagreement from society and rivalry with a younger man for her heart.

4. La Femme Anjola

This is a movie written by Tunde Babalola and directed by Mildred Okwo. It is a movie with a psychological thriller which headlines Rita Dominic and Nonso Bassey. It was released in March.

The movie centres on the story of a stockbroker who fell in love with a mysterious woman. Anjola tied the knot to a gangster who controls a nightclub where she executes live concerts.

5. The Razz Guy

This is a comedy-drama film directed by Udoka Oyeka, written by Egbemawei Sammy produced by Trino Motion Pictures.

Lasisi Elenu and Nancy Esime played lead role in the movie. The movie was released in March.

The movie is about the story of a senior executive whose arrogance and highhandedness brings him under a curse that makes him lose his capacity to speak proper English ahead of a significant international business merger contract. He must either discover a means to remove the curse and secure the contract or accept his fate.
