The fact that Ruth Kadiri Ezerike managed to hide her marriage and partner is no longer startling news.

In a recent interview, she gives her justification, saying, “Okay, first of all, my marriage is not top-secret. If my marriage wasn’t top-secret, you wouldn’t know about it. Second, you would realize that my husband is not a top-secret if you are close to me and are familiar with who I truly am.

My husband visits the location while I’m on set. What else is there to say when he is at home, my friends are arriving home, they know him, they’ve interacted with him, and his friends and family are familiar with him? That’s basically it. I’m alright; I don’t want to put myself through any emotional or mental strain. Everyone who knows me personally also knows my husband, and that’s fine.

Many women bemoan the expenses of motherhood, such as the alteration in their physical appearance, the impact on their professions, and the dearth of opportunities for personal development. But because she had “nice people around her,” the experience has been a rollercoaster for the Edo State mother of one.

I think every mother has gone through this stage of fear, and these are all valid concerns and worries. However, it’s usually simpler to handle the circumstance if you are close to encouraging people, like your partner or family. You’ll eventually get used to the new situation.

There is never any loss. You never lose the time you spent caring for your infant or raising a child. No matter when, you will always receive what is rightfully yours. It’s been good thus far. I am surrounded by kind people, therefore I don’t feel or have as much pressure as I might otherwise. After the whole process, I don’t even feel any of such pressure or restraint,” she said. “I believed I was even going to have it because, basically, fear was what held me down at some point.
