“Portable should be taken to a rehabilitation center” says the author — Aides to the Governor of Delta State
Fast-rising musician Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, should be brought to a rehabilitation center immediately, according to Ossai Ovie Success, an advisor to Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
After a viral video showing Portable urging some teenagers to beat up a young man and cause bodily injury on him appeared online, the Ogun State Police Command ordered the singer’s arrest, according to Naija News.
Okowa’s aide praised the musician for overcoming poverty in a Facebook post, but claimed that many of his misdeeds are linked to excessive drinking and drug consumption.
Portable should be taken to an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center as soon as possible, according to Ossai.
According to Ossai Ovie, excessive consumption of alcohol and drugs is linked to celebrities acquiring kidney difficulties or having professional issues.
“Take Portable to an alcohol and drug recovery center,” he wrote. I used to admire Zazu vocalist Portable’s zeal for eradicating poverty as a child, but the reality must be told.
“He has a lot of misbehaviors that are linked to consuming too much booze and drugs.” This little youngster must be looked after before he causes himself harm in the name of fame.
“Someone close to him should take Portable to an alcohol and drug treatment center as soon as possible.”
“Don’t suggest his character is what makes him famous since that’s how some people developed renal issues or had their musical careers end while everyone was praising them.”
“I need him to be better at what he does, which is why I’m concerned about his well-being.” He requires immediate assistance.”
