Petr Cech, Chelsea’s technical director, has admitted to ‘living on his phone’ as the club looks to bolster its team at Stamford Bridge.

After finishing third last season, Chelsea will aim to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for the Premier League crown next season.

Todd Boehly, the new owner, is rumored to have set aside £200 million to buy new players this summer.

Chelsea has lost Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger to Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively, and the Blues have been connected with Ousmane Dembele, Sevila’s Jules Kounde, and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling.

Romelu Lukaku, the Belgian striker, is thought to want to return to Inter Milan, and Tuchel would like to replace Rudiger and Lukaku at the very least.

Chelsea will have a ‘busy summer,’ according to Cech, who expects the club to be active in the transfer market and make the squad ‘as strong as possible.’

“I’m always on the phone!” It’ll be a hectic summer. According to Metro, Cech, a former Chelsea and Arsenal goalkeeper, said, “We will plan, prepare, and aim to be as strong as we can next season.”

“I believe everyone is aware of where we stand as a team.” We will, of course, make every effort to strengthen the team.

“We want to do our best and be ready to compete next season,” said the team. With a World Cup in the middle, it’ll be a tough season, so we need to be prepared.”
