MAPOLY Expels And Suspends 90 Students

During the Matriculation and Oath-Taking Ceremony, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, acting rector of MAPOLY, said that 30 students had been summarily dismissed and 60 others had been suspended.

MAPOLY Expels And Suspends 90 Students

90 students were suspended and expelled from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY) in Abeokuta, Ogun State for misbehavior during exams.

At the matriculation and oath-taking ceremony on Thursday, August 4, MAPOLY’s acting rector, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, announced that 30 students had been summarily dismissed and 60 others had been suspended.

Odedeji reaffirmed that the polytechnic administration disapproves of any antisocial behavior, exam misconduct, indecent dressing, secret alliances, and other similar activities.

He stated:

Your main goal while attending this school is to earn a certificate that will aid in your future success.

Please be advised that the management disapproves of some of the antisocial behaviors, exam misconduct, indecent clothes, and secret alliances that you have pledged today to oppose.

The Polytechnic also suspended 60 additional students and dismissed 30 students for violating exam rules.

The acting rector further stated that “for security concerns, pupils are not permitted to enter the school premises in cars that have tinted glasses.”

Added;

“As new students, be aware of the people you hang out with, decline any unsolicited help from anyone, and avoid anything that could bring the institution’s name and the names of your families into disrepute. Instead, channel your passion towards worthwhile projects that will make your name famous.
