Controversial singer, Naira Marley has volunteered to sing a new national anthem for the country after the House of Representatives received a proposal to change Nigeria’s name to the United African Republic or United Alkebulan Republic (UAR).

Naijaray recalls that the House Of Reps had received a proposal from a tax consultant, Adeleye Jokotoye, to change Nigeria’s name to the United African Republic or United Alkebulan Republic (UAR).

Jokotoye explained that he chose ‘United African Republic‘ because Nigeria is made up of hundreds of ethnic groups that need to be united.
