Ruger is another artist Don Jazzy has helped develop into a star, he became instantly famous the moment the music producer introduced him as a new signee for Jonzing records, an imprint of Mavins record owned by his brother, D’Prince. Ruger didn’t waste time hitting the airwaves as his track “Bounce” off his debut EP Pandemic became a global hit song.

Don Jazzy, as usual, before and after the release of “Pandemic” used his social media platforms to create awareness, thereby influence the song to more audience.


Just yesterday (September 24), Don Jazzy introduced another artist to the world who goes by the name, Magixx. On the same day, the new act released his debut self-titled EP, consisting of 4 tracks. Since Don Jazzy unveiled him on his social media page, his followers on Instagram have increased remarkably, he now has over 50k followers.

With Don Jazzy skills in managing talent, the new act looks set to play a big role in the future of Nigerian music.
