“He wants to play all his chances” – Expert says Chelsea player will do his best to prove himself at the club

We recently covered an article in the Italian publication Gazzetta Dello Sport concerning Napoli’s interest in signing Chelsea’s Armando Broja this summer.

Due to the possibility of losing striker Victor Osimhen during the current transfer window, the Italian team is already hunting for alternatives, and the Blues’ player appears to be one of them.

However, there is no guarantee that Chelsea would desire to complete a trade, since Thomas Tuchel may see a striker leave the squad and employ Broja next season.

This rumour was first reported by Radio Kiss Kiss, which quoted former Albania striker Erjon Bogdani as saying that Napoli was interested in signing him. Even though the Blues must yet determine what to do with the 20-year-old, the former footballer believes this would be a positive move for the Serie A club.

“I’m delighted with Napoli’s interest in Broja because we’re talking about a fantastic player.” He’s a movement number nine, not Osimhen, and he has different traits,” Bogdani said on Radio Kiss Kiss (via Tutto Napoli).

“We’re talking about a young guy from 2001, and Chelsea has always believed in him, even if he was moved out on loan for two years. He was a starter for the first time this year, which is impressive for such a young guy. In the Premier League, there are many champions, and he performed admirably.”

“Many clubs are interested in signing him, but if Lukaku left, Broja will be able to make the most of his opportunities at Chelsea.” If Napoli signs him, they’ll have to protect him because he’s a great prospect. Napoli are a terrific team in my opinion; they’ve consistently been in the top tier of Italian football in recent years and have also performed admirably in Europe.

“The youngster, on the other hand, is quite excited and looking forward to the Chelsea withdrawal, which Tuchel has expressed himself very nicely about.” He wants to take advantage of every opportunity to stay at Chelsea. As a football specialist, I am hoping that Osimhen will remain in Naples to assist the squad in achieving significant goals.”

Broja spent the season on loan with Southampton, where he made 30 appearances and scored nine goals. Transfermarkt estimates his worth at €18 million.
