Coronavirus: Buhari to address Nigerians tonight at 7.00 p.m on NTA

President Muhammadu Buhari is to address Nigerians tonight on the efforts to curtail the COVID-19 pandemic in a nationwide broadcast.

Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) Femi Adesina, who had earlier defended the president for not addressing the nation because it was not his style, announced this in Abuja on Sunday in a statement.

The statement said: “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 7.00 p.m.

Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”
